Translation

1. How is the cost of a translation service determined?

Each translation fee is calculated individually since the cost depends in the following factors:

2. What is the benefit in sending my documents to Unilexis in digital format rather than printed paper?

We recommend sending your information for translation in digital format since this reduces the delivery time considerably.

3. How long will it take to translate my document?

The client must present a representative sample of the document for the sales department and the technical department to review the complexity and size of the document and to calculate a delivery date.

4. In what digital formats can I present my information for translation?

You can present your digital documents in any of the following formats: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe FrameMaker, Acrobat (PDF), and such. IN the event that no digital version of the document is available, we can receive the documents through fax or a delivery service.

5. Is an advance payment required?

Yes. In order to begin the translation process, Unilexis requires a deposit equivalent to 50 % of the total agreed cost of the service.

6. How can I request a quotation?

In order to request a quotation, please send an email to contacto@unilexis.com and if possible, attach a sample of the text you wish to be translated. In addition, you will need to specify the required due date, if you need the certification of expert witnesses or if you need some type of graphic editing.

7. How can I send printed documents?

We can receive the original documents in our offices, or if you are located within our covered area we can send someone to you to receive the document.

8. Who certifies the expert witness translators?

The most important certifying organizations are the Superior Court of Justice of Mexico City and of each State and the Federal Judiciary Council.
